When you contact us or use our services, we collect the personal information you choose to share — like your name, email address, phone number, and any messages, stories, or experiences you submit. 

Depending on the context and your consent, this information may be used to help us improve our services or shape our programming. We only collect what’s necessary and are careful with how it’s used which we further detail in our Terms of Use.

Some of our programs or services may involve personal communication and identifying information. Others are designed for anonymous text-input — and we intentionally avoid collecting anything that could identify you or others. If there’s ever any doubt about whether information can be de-identified we may change details before it's shared publicly, or else we won’t share it without clear consent. 

We will never intentionally disclose personal identifying information unless we have your expressed permission to do so.

We use your information to respond to inquiries, deliver services, and make improvements which may include marketing. Sometimes, we analyze aggregated data to guide decisions or produce outputs — including with the help of various AI models — but usually no personally identifiable information is included in those instances. 

We do not sell or trade your personal data. However, we may work with trusted service providers like Google or Microsoft, which may process or store data outside Canada. These providers are selected based on privacy and security practices and usually feature multi-factoral authentication. We ensure that any data shared with them is limited to what’s necessary and handled in line with our privacy standards.

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how people use our website. These tools are not invasive, and you can manage them through your browser settings. We take reasonable security measures — including using encrypted and secure third-party tools — to protect data entrusted to us. That said, no system is perfect. We continuously assess and improve our practices and aim to go beyond minimum requirements as part of our due diligence. 

Our services are not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from or about minors. If we learn that a child has submitted personal information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it in the same way that we will delete or revise personal identifying information that may be inadvertently shared through our anonymous submission portal.
